Inukshuk (Inuksuk)

Used for centuries by the Inuit to mark a passage as safe, and that food and civilization are nearby.  In the general shape of the human form, the Inuksuk is typically made of stones and ranges from a few inches tall to many feet tall.  The Inuksuk seen here is an adaptation including a Texas Star at its heart to indicate the totality of emotion that the symbol has for this project.

Riding from Texas to Alaska, fulfilling a lifelong dream for father and son, the ride known as Southwest By Northwest is an effort for a father and son to have a grand adventure and to share something that has been in the blood of the family for decades.

Follow the ride on this website.  The progress in planning, information on the trip, the riders, and motorbikes, and for information on how you can show your support for the ride.  There is a Cafe Press shop where items are currently on sale and additional items will be listed for sale on the website in the near future.
